MERRICK COTTAGE
Merrick Cottage is a one bedroom self contained cottage. The upstairs bedroom has a king size bed (which can be split into two). Downstairs has an open plan kitchenette and lounge, and bathroom. The cottage is heated by a fireplace which also offers a lovely ambience within the cottage. There is free wifi, TV and books for guests to use during thier stay. The cottage has an outside deck, with a barbeque and overlooks the private garden and views of the river flats, Waioeka Bridge and river.
THE GARDEN CABIN
The garden cabin (situated right down the bottom of the garden) provides a private bedroom space, with a double bed, so can sleep up to two people. Bathroom facilities are shared with Merrick cottage, however there is a toilet outside the therapy room and a portable toilet based outside the garden cabin for convenience.
* Pukako and Harakeke cabins – are being developed currently and are situated at the bottom of the garden overlooking the river flats. These these will be providing a art space and quiet meditation room for guests to use. (Please note: a small charge may be required to help cover costs of the art supplies used).
THERAPY POOL
Whats included?
Guests have FREE use of the therapy pool, managed by a Magna pool system. This offers a unique blend of magnesium and potassium minerals to assist and aid in healing for the body. The pool is heated so it can be used to relax in as a spa, or for watsu and aquatic therapies. The pool has an endless swim machine so there is the opportunity to exercise and swim in the pool as well.
Tea and coffee are available for guests during their stay . All linen is provided during your stay.
COSTS:
$150 per night for 1-2 adults. $50 per night for each extra person.
The cottage can accommodate up to three people. The garden cabin is available as an extra bedroom - it has one double bed. Please note there can be a maximum of four guests in total if utilising the garden cabin. Bookings are essential and therapies are available Monday to Saturday only.
